Lord William Ashburn, aged 65, was the head of the Ashburn family and the owner of Ashburn Manor. He was married to Lady Evelyn Ashburn and was the father of three daughters: Lady Isabella Blackwell, Lady Clara Ashburn, and Lady Rose Ashburn.
